The strange quark plays a unique role in QCD, reflecting its intermediate mass between the light and heavy quarks. In recent years, remarkable progress has been made spectroscopy of baryons with strangeness. Many new features baryon spectrum have revealed by accurate experimental data novel techniques, as well systematic developments theoretical framework to describe hadron resonances. basic properties baryons, namely, pole positions, spin parity, decay branching ratios, are being determined accurately. As consequence, Particle Data Group added entries particle listings, such $\Lambda(1380)$ $\Omega(2012)$. stimulate intensive discussion on exotic internal structure beyond ordinary three-quark configuration. this review, we introduce basics scattering theory, hadrons, emphasizing importance positions amplitude for characterization We then summarize current status selected resonances; $\Lambda(1405)$, $\Lambda(1670)$, $\Xi(1620)$, $\Xi(1690)$, $\Omega(2012)$, from viewpoints.
